The Lone Fern

One of my favourites.

Among many, this fern was the only fern to have the light cast on it.  It was almost all fully lit whilst everything nearby was in shadow.

I saw so many climbers walk past it, to me it stood out, it needed to be captured.

Hey, I'm Sim Warren, I'm a climber, father, photographer & filmmaker.

I craft narrative films for brands and am always shooting stills along the path.  I’m into small moments and rituals that resonate with tribes of passionate people. Whether that's outdoor folk or climbers & athletes.  I produce artwork for climbers that illustrate an appreciation for the rock & routes we climb but I also love to celebrate the places I visit by putting together art prints from my favourite climbing destinations.
